I come across excellent freelancers with very high focus on their work but this is causing side-blindness. A highly focused beam can cause temporary blindness. Sustained period of working in focused way can cause loss of side-vision.
Many organizations and businesses get de-focused because of this side-blindness.
Opportunities, trends and dominant trends is having no contract to follow the path of your focus’s beam. Its always the other way around.
For a freelancer, one of the easiest ways to avoid this is to have a wider area of honest curiosity and intention to invest by reading.
There is no better process other than reading widely and with a disinterested curiosity to avoid temporary or permanent loss of side-vision
